On Sending Hotlinks!

You've got mail!

A co-worker on AOL asked:
"you gotta tell me how to make a hot link tomorrow"
(Now, this kid is certified in Computer Tech you understand, and he's by no means a dummy...
he's helped me loads at work)
It's pretty simple with AOL-- when your AOL browser is open:
choose the middle button (of 3) on your window ~on the blue bar~ so that your browser is not
minimized nor maximized but in-between, so you can see the red heart.
Now: drag the little heart-- (left of the three window-sizing gray buttons;
the same one that you click on for fave places)
"drag and drop" the heart (to either Instant Mail [IM's] or e-Mail)
to the "send-field"  where you are typing your message. 
You'll see the hot link R K Puma underlined in blue.

When using Microsoft's Outlook or MS Express, type in the full URL without brackets,
and recipients see a hyperlink (except AOL users).

becomes a link, magically/immediately after it's on the page!
NOTE:  it's a good idea to also provide the URL for non-AOLers whether it becomes a link or not,
for easy copy/pasting by ALL recipients (as follows).

The URL appears to the writer as normal text, but it will likely appear
to you as a hotlink [in e-mail] since you are NOT AOL.
Old Steve has certainly made a "Case" of this, has he not?
Just by typing the URL alone you (non-AOLers) will get a hotlink,
but for you to send one to an AOL'er you might try using HTML coding:
<a href="http://rkpuma.com/AAA/hotlinks.htm">Hotlinks</a>
(no guarantees though since mail systems & settings vary)
