ANNIE MOON DOLLS are each and every one unique. Fabrics are not bought
by the nine-yard bolt, but selected from existing, gently worn, fine garments; then fondly
recycled giving materials a happily unexpected reincarnation in today's
"toss-away" world. Annie has always envisioned materials, both natural and
manmade: not unlike Picasso's famous perception of an ordinary bicycle handlebar and seat.
Speaking of "found art" made from the no longer considered useful, what did you do with your last monitor or printer? We wish Annie would take time out to make us all some doorstops or bookends as charming as her dolls, from old PC peripherals. Certainly those old 486's aren't doing all that much for schools. R K's donated a few old systems and surely, they can't be around today, despite the hefty income tax deduction! IF you have an old dress, vest or something that belonged to your mother in mothballs, why not air it out and send it to Annie? Let her know how you'd best like to view it there on your etageré. Help Annie to allow you breathe some new life into some precious something, that you just can't bring yourself to part with [you pack-rat, you] and give her an idea or two and how it might fit into your visual life again. She'll run with it!
You can write Annie Moon with your ideas and thoughts; though she's always in transition, you can expect quicker responses in the very near future. anniemoonfolkart@yahoo.com
