Nep's first move to the wading (or kiddie) pool, which was adjacent to the adult pool behind the restarurant, wouldn't be his last, when the pool was filled in with concrete. Finally, he was painted up, as if by Max Factor and adorned native grasses and plants, when the entire wharf-front was remodeled with walkways, "old city" lamp posts and park benches.
