The Ocean View Tour by R K Puma

The Annual Ocean View Festival was originally located at what we called "A&P Beach" --directly across from the Ocean View Rec Center. Though A&P was long-gone, we still called it that --instead of "City Beach" or whatever they were calling it at a given time. You can see the OV Center (now for Seniors) and Pinecrest in backgrounds, as well as other bygone landmarks. No huge crowds, or strip-mall/carney atmosphere. Just friends catching up with one another.
Almost 30 years ago, seems like yesterday.
