Update: We've found more about Norfolk's YMCA; and about The Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach. The National Trust for Historic Preservation has a remarkable e-zine Preservation Online, delivering news on historic properties, with an outstanding search feature for their archives. We hope our city council takes notice that the YMCA was Norfolk's only entry there.
