Roberta--  My wife Linda & I visit your OV Tour often. These images are mostly from the 1930s.
For more about my grandmother, Elsie Wright, see her interview in:
"Talk About Trouble: A New Deal Portrait of Virginians in the Great Depression" (1996);
much family history, pp. 260 - 262. Our family have been watermen, going way back
with Wright's Fishery at Cottage Line and further to the Lamberts (oystermen in 1870).
By 1921 when Elsie Lambert Wright worked for her dad at Lambert Fisheries,
they relied on finfish, including shad & spot-- [the same Lamberts of Lambert Point Docks].
I was surprised to discover her interview while reading the above book.
I'll have more images for you soon. Thanks, Lance Wright, Norfolk

The vintage postcard reads:
"Ocean View is one of the popular shore resorts of the ATlantic. The amusement park is one of the largest and most complete in America. In addition to amusement devices for the grown-ups it has special features for the children. The most prolific fishing grounds along the Atlantic Coast are off the shores of Ocean View. Here the famous Ocean View spot are in abundance."
